Romanian and Belgian students had the opportunity to make acquaintance with the local entrepreneurial spirit in a networking event organized, on 11st April, by Brasov University, where our company, }exghts, was also invited to attend.
This initiative is part of Tomorrow HUB mission to connect young entrepreneurs to more experienced ones, as well as bringing together different companies from different fields.
The young foreigners, that were selected by the Chamber of Commerce of East-Flanders, Belgium, teamed up with students from Transilvania University, in an entrepreneurial bootcamp that aims to familiarize future business people with the latest trends in the field. The bootcamp culminated yesterday with a networking event attended by the Belgian ambassador, Thomas Baekelandt, as well as local entrepreneurs and officials.
}exghts CEO, Armand Sullot, had a series of very interesting conversations with some brilliant students and young entrepreneurs that already started their own businesses.
‘’We saw a lot of energy there. We know that Brasov is in an upcoming change and we loved the attitude of these young people that will, for sure, bring a lot of energy to this town. And we had concrete follow-ups with three students’’
said Armand Sullot.
The entire event wouldn’t have been possible without Andrei Neagu, the one that built the relationships between the Brasov University and Belgian educational institutes. He is known as initiator and manager of the ‘Tomorrow Hub’ – a new innovation centre and co-working hub for start-ups, supervised and funded by the Brasov University.
Overall, the networking event engaged business and civil communities of Brasov and created a unique opportunity for instructive and pleasant discussions between students and local personalities who contribute to the leading role of Brasov in the economic and social development of Transylvania.
