Location: Remote, in Romania

As a Senior Associate – Azure Data Factory Developer, you will have to provide the technical skills and expertise required in developing and maintaining computer operating system software of the most complex nature

What will you bring to the role?

Minimum Qualifications:

✅ Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field and three years related experience

✅ Proficiency in English

Job Duties:

🛠 Ability to analyze database implementation methods to make sure they are in line with company policies and any external regulations that may apply.

🛠 Capable of conducting research, design, and testing in computational environments to support analytical modeling (statistics, machine learning, optimization, and simulation).

🛠 Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

🛠 Hands-on experience with data modeling using data best practices, database configuration, and reference data management.

🛠 Understands the importance of assuring security of data from external parties and for management of row-level-security within the organization.

🛠The ability to develop scalable and reliable data solutions to move data across systems from multiple sources in near real time as well as batch modes.

🛠 Aware of architectural/ industry changes; especially in the areas of cloud.

🛠 Experience in Azure Data Factory & SSIS ETL architecture and development/troubleshooting of ETL jobs.

🛠 Capable of advising, mentoring, and coaching software system specialists of lower grade with respect to determination of and possible solutions to work problems.

🛠 Create and review technical and user-focused documentation for data solutions (data models, data dictionaries, business glossaries, process and data flows, architecture diagrams, etc.).

🛠 Excellent interpersonal/communication skills (both oral/written) with the ability to communicate at various levels with clarity & precision

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Data Modeling, Database Development. Data Warehousing, Azure, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, SQL Server, Oracle, and T-SQL/PLSQL.

Preferred Experience:

☑️ Experience with data warehouse modeling, operational reports and data stores, (Power)BI reports, data replication, ETL technologies and data archival.

☑️ Experience implementing Master Data Management and Data Quality Services is preferred.

☑️ Experience with Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) architecture – Azure Data Factory

☑️ Knowledge of Azure data lake is required

☑️ Knowledge of Microsoft Tech Stack Preferably Azure Data Platform.

☑️ Lead and Design to implement common data ingestion processes and analytical tools to proactively identify, quantify and monitor risks.

☑️ A broad understanding of data virtualization and visualization methods and techniques.

☑️ Understanding of the difference between transactional database design and reporting database design.

☑️ Experience with cloud platforms (Azure), including readiness, provisioning, security, and governance preferred.
