Do you have an awesome idea and don’t know exactly how to let people know you’re out there?
Microsoft Dynamics 365 is the one stop shop you need! Just as the name itself states, Dynamics enables you to put in motion CRM and complex marketing strategies, while completely switching the paradigm from the static and time-consuming classical marketing approaches to the much-needed industry synergies.
We put together some information about leveraging the key functionalities in Dynamics, starting with the first step: creating, adding and managing accounts and contacts.
Create your database of potential customers
Dynamics allows you to not only add contacts, but also to create complex business accounts and fill in all the relevant information you need, ranging from physical addresses and contact preferences to the number of employees, annual revenue, billing and payment agreements or child accounts.
To create a new business account, just navigate to the left panel, open the “Accounts” tab under the “Customers” menu and select “New” from the top grid. Fill in all the information you need, click “Save” and you’re done!
Regarding contacts, keep in mind that Dynamics is much more than just a digital phone book. Not only can you add information such as e-mails, phone numbers and other means of contact, but there are countless possibilities to create an ever-complex image of the key people in a company. Use this amazing tool to generate hierarchies of people and business child accounts to have the key decision factors for each prospective customer just one click away!
And if this is not enough, check this out! You can use the form designer to customize the forms included with Dynamics 365 to meet the specific needs of your organization.
In Dynamics 365, forms provide the user interface that people use to interact with the data they need to do their work. It is important that the forms people use are designed to allow them to find or enter the information they need quickly.
What forms can you customize? Account, Contact, Invoice, Lead, Opportunity, Quote.
Now that your database in completed, you can create segments, implement marketing campaigns and monitor the impact in a user-friendly way, gaining extremely valuable insights for future reference.
